Membership page

All Types of BRDAA Membership

Association Membership runs from 1st Jan until 31st Dec annually, and allow members access to
fishing on the BRDAA rota beat of the River Ericht for salmon, sea trout, wild brown trout and
grayling. Members and their guests are also allowed to fish for brown, blue and rainbow trout on two
BRDAA stocked lochs near Blairgowrie.
All applications for membership are subject to approval by the Association Committee.
If you are interested in joining the Association, please download and complete the Membership
Application Form and email it to memberships@brdaa.co.uk or hand it in to one of the tackle shops
in Blairgowrie. Do not submit any payments until contacted to do so.

Full Adult Membership

Full Adult membership costs £50 per annum for existing members and a concessionary £25 per
annum for qualifying Senior Citizens. An additional joining fee of £35 for Full Adult membership is
applicable.
To qualify for the Senior member concessionary fee, members must have 10-years consecutive
membership either from age 55 or from the date they joined the Association.
Members failing to renew their membership for 2 consecutive years will be deemed to have left the
Association. Such lapsed members wishing to re-join the Association will be subject to another £35
joining fee.

Intermediate (Young Adult) Membership

Intermediate membership costs £25 per annum and there is no associated joining fee.
Those wishing to take out an Intermediate membership must be over 16 yrs old and under 21 yrs old
at the 1st of January of the season year. Intermediate members do not need to be accompanied
when fishing the Association lochs.

Junior Membership

Junior membership is available to those who are under 16 yrs old at the 1st of January of the season
year. Junior membership is free, with no additional joining fee, however Junior Member rod fees
apply when fishing the Association lochs. Junior Members (and guests under the age of 16 yrs old)
must wear a life jacket and be accompanied by an adult when fishing on these lochs.
Any Junior member reaching 16 yrs old in a particular year, will transfer to Intermediate membership
the following year (at the applicable rate) with no joining fee being required.

Guests: Members guests are allowed to fish Fingask Loch and Whiteloch.
